-This paper analyzes recent advances in low-power design options for amplifiers within the context of sensor nodes for the Internet-of-Things (IoT). Some of the most promising energy-efficient amplification techniques both in continuous-time and discrete-time domains are reviewed, spanning from open-loop and closed-loop approaches.
