§ 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. The Terms and Conditions define the conditions of participation in the MIXDES Conference named: International Conference "Mixed Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems", organized by the Department of Microelectronics and Computer Science of the Lodz University of Technology with its registered office in Lodz, Poland, ul. Żeromskiego 118, 90-924 Lodz, NIP: 727 002 18 95, REGON: 000001583.
2. Information regarding the event, including the date and place, is available on the conference website: www.mixdes.org.

§ 2. DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions have been specified:

1. Terms and Conditions – means this document containing a set of rules and conditions of participation in the Conference, available on the website at: www.mixdes.org.
2. Organizer – means the organization organizing the event, listed in § 1 point 1.
3. Conference – means the Conference currently organized by the Organizer under the name: International Conference "Mixed Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems" taking place on the dates and place and with the full name indicated on the conference website: www.mixdes.org.
4. Registration – means the notification to the Organizer of the willingness of a given natural person to participate in the Conference by filling in the Registration Form.
5. Registration Form – means the form available on the website www.mixdes.org through which Conference Registration takes place.
6. Confirmation of registration – means a message sent by the Organizer to the e-mail address provided by the Participant in the Registration process, confirming Registration.
7. Participant – means the natural person indicated in the Registration Form.
8. Remote Participant – means the Participant participating in the conference remotely with the consent of the Organizer.
9. Privacy Policy – specifies the method of data processing. The Privacy Policy is available on the conference website: Privacy policy

§ 3. TERMS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE

1. The condition for participation in the Conference is to register via the Registration Form, available on the Conference website at www.mixdes.org and pay the fee for participation in the Conference.
2. The Participant registers on their own.
3. Regardless of the form of registration chosen, the Participant is obliged to read these Terms and Conditions and comply with their provisions.
4. The scope of the registration system includes the service of storing the User's registration in the database, as well as handling this registration, consisting of collecting, recording, storing, updating, supplementing and deleting this data by the Organizer.

§ 4. COMPLAINTS

1. All complaints from Conference Participants against the Organizer should be submitted in writing via the e-mail mixdes@dmcs.p.lodz.pl or to the address of the Organizer's registered office and should include: name and surname of the person submitting the complaint, correspondence address, e-mail address, telephone number, subject of the complaint, date of the event, indication of the factual circumstances justifying the complaint.
2. Complaints may be submitted by the Conference Participant no later than 3 days after the end of the Conference.
3. After the above-mentioned deadline, no complaints will be accepted.
4. The Organizer will consider the complaint within 14 working days from the date of submission of the complaint and will communicate its position to the entity submitting the complaint in the form in which it submitted the complaint.

§ 5. FEES

1. Participation in the Conference is payable according to the price list available on the conference website: Prices
   The fee includes:
   • participation in sessions of your choice during the Conference,
   • a set of conference materials,
   • participation in lunches and gala dinners organized during the Conference,
   • use of coffee breaks available during the sessions,
   • participation in tourist activities organized during one of the days of the Conference,
   • a publication (monograph) containing articles for papers presented during the Conference (delivered to participants by post after the end of the conference),
   • a certificate confirming participation in the conference (issued at the Participant's request).
   In the case of a Remote Participant, the scope of the above services is limited and includes:
   • participation in a session in which the remote Participant is scheduled to present,
   • a publication (monograph) containing articles for papers presented during the Conference (delivered to participants by post after the end of the conference).
2. The purchase of participation in the Conference can be made after correctly filling out the Conference Registration form in the Payment options tab.
3. The current price for participation in the conference expressed in Euro and Polish zloty is available on the conference website
4. The Participant is issued a VAT invoice. The condition for receiving the invoice is that the Participant correctly fills in the Invoice data section in the Registration Form.
5. VAT invoices will be issued by the Organizer after the payment has been posted to their bank account.
6. At the Participant's request, it is possible to receive a pro-forma invoice or an invoice with a 14-day payment term. The request for issuing such an invoice should be sent to the Organizer's e-mail address: mixdes@dmcs.p.lodz.pl
7. Available forms of payment:
   1. bank transfer to the Organizer's account:

      In the transfer title, provide the participant's name and surname
   2. card payment via the PayU payment system.
   8. Participants from outside Poland will pay only in Euro (EUR) or Polish Zloty (PLN). No other currency will be accepted.
   9. Participants from Poland will settle their accounts only in Polish Zloty (PLN). No other currency will be accepted.

§ 6. TRANSPORT AND ACCOMMODATION

1. The Participant will cover the cost of any accommodation and travel on their own.
2. The Organizer does not intermediate in the sale of accommodation and is not a party in the event of any mutual claims between the Participant and the hotel.

§ 7. OBLIGATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS

1. The Participant is obliged to familiarize themselves with the Terms and Conditions.
2. Conference participants are obliged to comply with generally applicable health and safety rules, fire protection, sanitary and administrative regulations and the Hotel regulations.
3. Conference participants may stay on the Conference premises only during the opening hours designated by the Organizer.
4. Conference participants are prohibited from conducting any commercial, canvassing, advertising, promotional or agitating activities or money collections not agreed with the Organizer.
5. Participants are required to comply with applicable legal regulations and the principles of social coexistence, as well as not to disturb public order.
6. The Organizer has the right to refuse entry or to ask the following persons to leave the conference premises:
   • persons who are visibly under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, psychotropic substances or other substances with a similar effect,
   • persons in possession of weapons or other dangerous objects,
   • persons behaving aggressively, provocatively or in any other way posing a threat to public safety or order.
7. Conference Participants are fully liable for any damage they cause to the property of the Organizer, hotel or other Participants.

§ 9. RESIGNATION FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE

1. A Participant may resign from participation in the Conference and obtain a refund of incurred costs if they submit a resignation notification no later than 30 days before the start of the Conference. After this date, the registration fee is non-refundable. The refunded amount may be reduced by bank and PayU payment system fees and may change due to changes in the exchange rate in the case of payments in Euro.
2. The absence of a participant at the conference does not entitle him/her to a refund of the entry fee. It is possible to change the name of the participant after reporting this to the Organizer via e-mail to the address: mixdes@dmcs.p.lodz.pl.

§10. LIABILITY

1. The Organizer declares that the content provided by him during the Conference is of an educational nature only. The Organizer is not liable for any damages incurred by Participants or third parties in connection with or as a result of the Participants using the information, knowledge or skills acquired during the Conference.
2. In the event that the Conference does not take place for reasons solely attributable to the Organizer, the Organizer will immediately inform the Participant of this fact.
3. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Conference program, change the speakers, and to cancel the Conference in the event of unforeseen events beyond the Organizer's control. In the event of the Conference being canceled, information about this fact will be provided to the registered Participants, and the participation fees paid will be refunded by bank transfer. In the event of force majeure and the Conference being postponed to another date, the participant who paid the fee will be entitled to a refund or to count it towards participation in the Conference on the new date.
4. The Organizer is not liable for damages caused by force majeure.
5. The Organizer is not responsible for the Participants' belongings that may be lost, destroyed or stolen during the Conference.

§ 11. RULES FOR THE USE OF IMAGE, VOICE AND STATEMENTS

1. The Organizer declares, and the Participant agrees, that the course of the Conference may be recorded in the form of an audiovisual recording and/or photos, and the created works may be used for the purposes of broadcasting in the mass media (television, radio, Internet, press, social media, etc.) or for the purposes of documentation, promotion, advertising: the Organizer and other persons indicated by the Organizer, as well as the Conference itself (commercial use).
2. The Organizer informs that the recording of the material referred to in point 1 may take place throughout the entire facility where the Conference will be held, unless the Organizer clearly designates recording-free zones.
3. The Participant authorizes the Organizer to use his/her image and/or voice and statements (if the Participant provides such during lecture discussions and/or to the camera) and to distribute them as elements of the aforementioned works for the purposes specified in point 1 above, and hereby grants non-exclusive and free consent, without time or territorial restrictions, for their use by the Organizer and all entities authorized by the Organizer in various fields of exploitation of the materials, in particular:
   • recording on any audiovisual medium (on video media, photosensitive tape, magnetic tape and computer disk, in a multimedia network including the Internet),
   • reproduction by any technique,
   • public display, reproduction, broadcasting and re-broadcasting,
   • renting, leasing, lending of media on which the image, voice, statement was recorded,
   • copying into computer memory and a multimedia network,
   • use on various types of websites (including the Organizer's website).

§12. FINAL PROVISIONS

1. The Organizer provides the content of the Terms and Conditions before the Participant registers.
2. The Organizer reserves the right to introduce changes to the Terms and Conditions.
3. Each new Regulation applies to persons who have not yet registered for the Conference or accepted the new Terms and Conditions.
4. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude from participation in the Conference Participants who violate any provisions of these Terms and Conditions, in particular:
   • take actions that are contrary to the law, good customs or that harm the legitimate interests of third parties;
   • take actions aimed at circumventing or indicating an attempt to circumvent the Terms and Conditions or the rules of holding the Conference;
   • take actions that violate the legitimate interests of the Organizer or harm its image.
5. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply accordingly.
6. In the event of a change or invalidation as a result of a final court decision, any of the provisions of the Terms and Conditions, the remaining provisions thereof shall remain in force.
7. Any disputes between the Organizer will be resolved first amicably and then by a court with jurisdiction over the Organizer's registered office. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions. The provisions regarding changes to the Privacy Policy shall apply accordingly.

§ 1. POSTANOWIENIA OGÓLNE

1. Regulamin określa warunki uczestnictwa w Konferencji MIXDES pod nazwą: Międzynarodowa Konferencja "Mixed Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems", organizowaną przez Katedrę Mikroelektroniki i Techik Informatycznych Politechniki Łódzkiej z siedzibą w Łodzi, ul. Żeromskiego 118, 90-924 Łódź, NIP: 727 002 18 95, REGON: 000001583.
2. Informacje dotyczące wydarzenia, w tym termin i miejsce dostępne są na stronie konferencji: www.mixdes.org.

§ 2. DEFINICJE

Na potrzeby niniejszego Regulaminu sprecyzowano następujące definicje:

1. Regulamin – oznacza niniejszy dokument zawierający zbiór zasad i warunków uczestnictwa w Konferencji, dostępny na stronie internetowej pod adresem: www.mixdes.org.
2. Organizator – oznacza orgnizację organizującą wydarzenie, wymienioną w par. 1 pkt 1.
3. Konferencja – oznacza actualnie organizowaną przez Organizatora Konferencję pod nazwą: Międzynarodowa Konferencja "Mixed Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems" odbywającą się w dniach i miejscu oraz pełnej nazwie wskazanej na stronie konferencji: www.mixdes.org.
4. Rejestracja  – oznacza zgłoszenie Organizatorowi chęci uczestnictwa danej osoby fizycznej w Konferencji poprzez wypełnienie Formularza zgłoszeniowego.
5. Formularz zgłoszeniowy – oznacza formularz dostępny na stronie internetowej www.mixdes.org za pomocą którego następuje Rejestracja na Konferencję.
6. Potwierdzenie zgłoszenia – oznacza komunikat wysyłany przez Organizatora na adres poczty elektronicznej podany przez Uczestnika w procesie Rejestracji, potwierdzający Rejestrację.
7. Uczestnik – oznacza osobę fizyczną, która została wskazana w Formularzu zgłoszeniowym.
8. Uczestnik zdalny – oznacza Uczestnika biorącego udział w konferencji w formie zdalnej za zgodą Organizatora.
9. Polityka Prywatności – określa sposób przetwarzania danych. Polityka Prywatności dostępna jest na stronie konferencji: Privacy policy

§ 3. WARUNKI UCZESTNICTWA

1. Warunkiem uczestnictwa w Konferencji jest dokonanie Rejestracji za pośrednictwem Formularza zgłoszeniowego, dostępnego na stronie internetowej Konferencji pod adresem www.mixdes.org oraz uiszczenie opłaty za udział w Konferencji.
2. Uczestnik dokonuje rejestracji samodzielnie.
3. Niezależnie od wybranej formy rejestracji, Uczestnik zobowiązany jest do zapoznania się z niniejszym Regulaminem i stosowania się do jego postanowień.
4. Zakres działania systemu rejestracyjnego obejmuje usługę polegającą na przechowywaniu w bazie danych rejestracji Użytkownika, a także obsłudze tej rejestracji, polegającą na zbieraniu, utrwalaniu, przechowywaniu, aktualizowaniu, uzupełnianiu i usuwaniu tych danych przez Organizatora.

§ 4. REKLAMACJE

1. Wszelkie reklamacje Uczestników Konferencji wobec Organizatora powinny być zgłaszane w formie pisemnej za pośrednictwem adresu poczty elektronicznej mixdes@dmcs.p.lodz.pl lub na adres siedziby Organizatora i powinny zawierać: imię i nazwisko zgłaszającego reklamację, adres do korespondencji, adres email, numer telefonu, przedmiot reklamacji, datę wydarzenia, wskazanie okoliczności faktycznych uzasadniających reklamację.
2. Reklamacje Uczestnik Konferencji może zgłaszać nie później niż w terminie 3 dni od dnia zakończenia Konferencji.
3. Po upływie wyżej określonego terminu żadne reklamacje nie będą uwzględniane.
4. Organizator rozpatruje reklamację w ciągu 14 dni roboczych od daty złożenia reklamacji i przekazuje swoje stanowisko podmiotowi składającemu reklamację w formie, w której złożył reklamację.

§ 5. PŁATNOŚCI

1. Udział w Konferencji jest płatny wg. cennika dostępnego na stronie konferencji: Prices
   Opłata obejmuje:
   • udział w wybranych przez siebie sesjach podczas trwania Konferencji,
   • zestaw materiałów konferencyjnych,
   • udział w obiadach i uroczystych kolacjach organizowanych podczas Konferencji
   • korzystanie z przerw kawowych dostępnych podczas trwania sesji,
   • udział w wycieczce organizowanej podczas jedniego z dni Konferencji,
   • publikację (monografię) zawierającą artykuły dla zaprezentowanych podczas Konferencji referatów (dostarczana do uczestników pocztą po zakończeniu konferencji),
   • certyfikat potwierdzający udział w konferencji (wydawany na żądanie Uczestnika).
   W przypadku Uczestnika zdalnego zakres ww. usług jest ograniczony i obejmuje:
   • udział w sesji, w której Uczestnik zdalny ma przewidzianą prezentację,
   • publikację (monografię) zawierającą artykuły dla zaprezentowanych podczas Konferencji referatów (dostarczana do uczestników pocztą po zakończeniu konferencji).
2. Zakupu udziału w Konferencji można dokonać po poprawnym wypełnieniu formularza Conference Registration w zakładce Payment options.
3. Aktualna cena za udział w konferencji wyrażona w Euro i polskich złotych dostępna jest na stronie internetowej konferencji
4. Uczestnikowi wydawana jest faktura VAT. Warunkiem otrzymania faktury jest prawidłowe wypełnienie przez Uczestnika sekcji Invoice data w Formularzu rejestracyjnym.
5. Faktury VAT będą wystawiane przez Organizatora po zaksięgowaniu płatności na jego koncie bankowym.
6. Na prośbę Uczestnika możliwe jest otrzymanie faktury pro-forma lub faktury z 14-dniowym terminem płatności. Prośbę o wystawienie takiej faktury należy wysłać na adres poczty elektronicznej Organizatora: mixdes@dmcs.p.lodz.pl
7. Dostępne formy płatności:
   1. przelew bankowy na konto Organizatora:

8. Uczestnicy spoza Polski rozliczają się wyłącznie w Euro (EUR) lub Polskich Złotych (PLN). Inna waluta nie będzie akceptowana. 
9. Uczestnicy z Polski rozliczają się wyłącznie w Polskich Złotych (PLN). Inna waluta nie będzie akceptowana. 

§ 6. TRANSPORT I ZAKWATEROWANIE

1. Koszt ewentualnego zakwaterowania i przejazdu Uczestnik pokrywa we własnym zakresie.
2. Organizator nie świadczy usług pośrednictwa w sprzedaży noclegów i nie jest stroną w przypadku jakichkolwiek wzajemnych roszczeń pomiędzy Uczestnikiem i hotelem.

§ 7. OBOWIĄZKI UCZESTNIKÓW

1. Uczestnik zobowiązany jest zapoznać się z Regulaminem.
2. Uczestnicy konferencji są zobowiązani są do przestrzegania ogólnie obowiązujących zasad BHP, przepisów przeciwpożarowych, sanitarnych, administracyjnych oraz regulaminu Hotelu.
3. Uczestnicy konferencji mogą przebywać na terenie Konferencji tylko w godzinach otwarcia oznaczonych przez Organizatora.
4. Zabronione jest prowadzenie przez uczestników Konferencji jakichkolwiek działań komercyjnych, akwizycyjnych, reklamowych, promocyjnych, a także agitujących oraz zbiórek pieniężnych nie uzgodnionych z Organizatorem.
5. Uczestnicy zobowiązani są do przestrzegana obowiązujących przepisów prawa oraz zasad współżycia społecznego, a także niezakłócania porządku publicznego.
6. Organizator ma prawo odmówić wstępu lub wyprosić z terenu konferencji:
   • osoby znajdujące się pod widocznym wpływem alkoholu, środków odurzających, psychotropowych lub innych podobnie działających środków,
   • osoby posiadające broń lub inne niebezpieczne przedmioty,
   • osoby zachowujące się agresywnie, prowokacyjnie albo w inny sposób stwarzającej zagrożenie dla bezpieczeństwa lub porządku publicznego.
7. Uczestnicy konferencji ponoszą pełną odpowiedzialność materialną za wyrządzone przez siebie szkody na mieniu Organizatora, hotelu lub innych Uczestników.

§ 9. REZYGNACJA

1. Uczestnik może zrezygnować z udziału w Konferencji i uzyskać zwrot poniesionych kosztów w przypadku dokonania zgłoszenia rezygnacji najpóźniej 30 dni przed rozpoczęciem Konferencji. Po tym terminie opłata rejestracyjna nie podlega zwrotowi. Zwrócona kwota może być pomniejszona o pobrane prowizje bankowe i przez system płatności PayU oraz ulec zmianie w związku ze zmianą kursu walut w przypadku płatności w Euro.
2. Nieobecność uczestnika na konferencji nie uprawnia go do otrzymania zwrotu wpisowego.
3. Istnieje możliwość zmiany nazwiska uczestnika po uprzednim zgłoszeniu tego Organizatorowi za pomocą poczty elektronicznej na adres: mixdes@dmcs.p.lodz.pl.

§10. ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚĆ

1. Organizator oświadcza, że treści przekazane przez niego w trakcie Konferencji mają charakter wyłącznie edukacyjny. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za szkody powstałe u Uczestników lub osób trzecich, w związku lub na skutek wykorzystania przez Uczestników informacji, wiedzy lub umiejętności zdobytych w trakcie Konferencji.
2. W przypadku, gdy Konferencja nie odbędzie się z przyczyn wyłącznie zależnych od Organizatora, Organizator niezwłocznie poinformuje o tym fakcie Uczestnika.
3. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do zmian w programie Konferencji, zmiany osób prelegentów, a także do odwołania Konferencji w przypadku zaistnienia zdarzeń losowych niezależnych od Organizatora. W przypadku odwołania Konferencji, informacja o tym fakcie zostanie przekazana zgłoszonym Uczestnikom, a dokonane opłaty za uczestnictwo zwrócone przelewem bankowym. W przypadku zaistnienia siły wyższej i przełożenia Konferencji na inny termin, uczestnik który dokonał opłaty będzie uprawniony do jej zwrotu bądź zaliczenia jej na poczet uczestnictwa w Konferencji w nowym terminie.
4. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za szkody spowodowane siłą wyższą.
5. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za rzeczy Uczestników, które mogą zostać zgubione, zniszczone lub skradzione podczas Konferencji.

§ 11. ZASADY WYKORZYSTANIA WIZERUNKU, GŁOSU ORAZ WYPOWIEDZI

1. Organizator oświadcza, a Uczestnik wyraża zgodę na to, że przebieg Konferencji może być rejestrowany w formie nagrania audiowizualnego oraz/lub zdjęć, a także stworzone utwory mogą być wykorzystywane do celów emisji w środkach masowego przekazu (telewizja, radio, Internet, prasa, media społecznościowe, itp.) lub dla celów dokumentacji, promocji, reklamy: Organizatora i innych osób wskazanych przez Organizatora, jak również samej Konferencji (komercyjne wykorzystanie). 
2. Organizator informuje, że rejestracja materiału, o którym mowa w  pkt. 1 może mieć miejsce na terenie całego obiektu, na którym odbywać się będzie Konferencja, chyba że Organizator w sposób wyraźny wyznaczy strefy wolne od nagrywania.
3. Uczestnik upoważnia Organizatora do wykorzystania swojego wizerunku oraz/lub głosu i wypowiedzi (jeżeli Uczestnik takowych udzieli w trakcie dyskusji prelekcyjnych oraz/lub do kamery) oraz rozpowszechniania ich jako elementów ww. utworów do celów wymienionych w pkt. 1 powyżej, i niniejszym udziela niewyłącznej oraz nieodpłatnej zgody, bez ograniczeń czasowych oraz terytorialnych, na ich wykorzystanie przez Organizatora oraz wszelkie upoważnione do tego przez Organizatora podmioty na różnych polach eksploatacji materiałów, w szczególności:
   • utrwalanie na jakimkolwiek nośniku audiowizualnym (na nośnikach wideo, taśmie światłoczułej, magnetycznej i dysku komputerowym, w sieci multimedialnej w tym w Internecie),
   • zwielokrotnianie jakąkolwiek techniką,
   • publiczne wyświetlanie, odtwarzanie, nadawanie i reemitowanie,
   • wypożyczenie, najem, użyczenie nośników, na których utrwalono wizerunek, głos, wypowiedź,
   • wprowadzenie do pamięci komputera i do sieci multimedialnej,
   • wykorzystanie na różnego rodzaju stronach internetowych (m.in. na stronie Organizatora).

§12. POSTANOWIENIA KOŃCOWE

1. Organizator udostępnia treść Regulaminu przed dokonaniem rejestracji przez Uczestnika.
2. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do wprowadzania zmian w Regulaminie.
3. Każdy nowy Regulamin obowiązuje dla osób, które nie zapisały się jeszcze na Konferencję lub zaakceptowały nowy Regulamin.
4. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do wyłączenia z udziału w Konferencji Uczestników, którzy naruszają jakiekolwiek postanowienia niniejszego Regulaminu, a w szczególności:
   1. podejmują działania sprzeczne z prawem, z dobrymi obyczajami lub godzące w uzasadnione interesy osób trzecich;
   2. podejmują działania zmierzające do obejścia albo wskazujące na próbę obejścia Regulaminu lub zasad odbywania Konferencji;
   3. podejmują działania naruszające uzasadnione interesy Organizatora lub godzące w jego wizerunek.
5. W sprawach nieuregulowanych niniejszym Regulaminem stosuje się odpowiednio przepisy Kodeksu Cywilnego.
6. W razie zmiany lub unieważnienia wskutek prawomocnego orzeczenia sądu, któregokolwiek z postanowień Regulaminu, pozostałe jego postanowienia pozostają w mocy.
7. Wszelkie spory pomiędzy Organizatorem będą rozstrzygane najpierw ugodowo, a następnie przez sąd właściwy miejscowo dla siedziby Organizatora.
8. Polityka Prywatności stanowi integralną część Regulaminu. Do zmian treści Polityki Prywatności stosuje się odpowiednio postanowienia dotyczące zmiany Regulaminu.
