Quantum computing has already made a step into the industrial world and several multinational corporations have started their own research efforts. So far, a large fraction of these efforts is focusing on superconducting qubits, whose progress is currently way ahead of all other solid-state implementations. This paper reviews quantum computing topologies and circuit architectures, with focus on silicon-based platform for quantum bits and control interface operating at cryogenic temperature.
