Active noise control (ANC) and Narrowband ANC methods with a variable step size least mean square (VSSLMS) algorithm are simulated to reduce the microphonics effects in the cavities. Adaptive filter (the LMS algorithm in the ANC method and the Filtered-x-LMS (FxLMS) algorithm in the NANC method) identifies and estimates the system coefficients based on the changes in the detuning signal. Based on the simulation results, the proposed method has a higher tracking ability and faster convergence rate than the other methods and also low computational complexity.
