Air: Kraków is served by The John Paul II International Airport in Balice (IATA: KRK) located 15 km on west of the city center, near the A4 motorway. Various airlines including low cost carriers fly into the city.
Rail: Direct international railway connections to Kraków from many European cities are available. Kraków is also linked with all other main towns and cities in Poland. The Express InterCity train trip from Warsaw takes less than 3 hours.
Coach: Many travel agencies offer permanent coach connections between Kraków and numerous cities in Europe.
Road: Kraków is located close to important roads highways and at the cross-road of E77 (linking the North with the South) and E40 (linking the West with the East). One may also travel to Kraków along the A4 highway running from the West through Silesia.
