Investigations on Properties of a Laboratory System for Wireless Power Transfer

The paper presents the results of experimental investigations of the system for wireless power transfer (WPT). The tested system consists of a transmitter module, a receiver module and two winding coils forming an air transformer. In the presented results of the experimental investigations, the influence of load resistance of the tested system on the value of the total harmonic distortion factor THD in the electric energy transmission line was analyzed, and the shape of the current and voltage waveforms in the tested system was presented and discussed.
