This article presents a universal COrdinate Rotation DIgital Computer (CORDIC) algorithm, developed for serial and parallel architectures. It conducts multiplication, division, modulus, sine, cosine, arctangent, hyperbolic sine, hyperbolic cosine, hyperbolic arctangent, and hyperbolic modulus operations. It is used Verilog hardware description language to implement the circuit and Python programming language for the testing. The developed algorithm strongly contributes to various applications, such as telecommunications, robotics, and energy systems that require real-time operation and precision.
